UI: Move Standard Section of Dropdown Menu to the Top

Post by Mel Davis »

Could you move the dropdown's standard section from the the bottom to the top of the menu?

(The standard section is "Temporarily Allow All; Revoke Temporary Permissions; Make Temporary Permissions Permanent; ..." )

This common section of the menu is used most often but can appear anywhere on the screen, depending on how many scripts are running on any particular website. Some sites, abcnews for example, have so many scripts running that the menu extends past the bottom of the screen, and the user has to scroll down the menu to find the standard section. Also, vision-impaired readers may have a large font and the menu frequently extends past the bottom of the screen.

This is a small change, but I think it would be a great UI enhancement. It would make the menu easier to use.

IMO it's better not to change the menu order around for *all* NoScript users, it'll just confuse people.
However, I've previously asked for the menu order to be user customizable: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20480
Would that cover your request in your opinion? (If yes, I'll merge the two threads.)
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
