[RFE] about:reader on untrusted websites

Post by Luigi »

As per subject, it would be neat to be able to use the firefox reader without having to whitelist the website.

The problem is described here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20902.

Some more details:
It appears that about:reader is somehow injected into the page on which reader mode is requested.
As a result, if about:reader is used to view a site that is Marked as Untrusted, it won't work, as described in the other thread.

The problem can be worked around by manually navigating to the about:reader URL, which can be easily enough obtained (see other thread). This is a RFE to add an option to NoScript, for NoScript to automatically perform that navigation as needed.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
