Videos on Yahoo not loading

Hello,
I've noticed that, recently, videos on yahoo.com stopped loading unless I allow
adserver.yahoo.com on NoScript, but... isn't that a tracking cookie?
Example:

Video will not appear or load with the following NS settings:
ALLOWED:
www.yahoo.com
geo.query.yahoo.com
twitter.com
yimg.com
fbcdn.net
flickr.com
facebook.com
video.yahoo.com
NOT ALLOWED:
us.adserver.yahoo.com
adserver.yahoo.com
yahoo.com
y.analytics.yahoo.com
analytics.yahoo.com
But the moment I allow us.adserver.yahoo.com, the video appears and loads.
I would go ahead and allow it permanently, except it doesn't look like something I should be allowing at all.
Any insight?

I'm not certain but it sounds to me like, er, an ad server... meaning, it serves advertisements... (which may or may not also contain trackers)

Well, please re-post the link, and we'll check if that domain is a candidate for a default
surrogate script.

Oh, I didn't know those did not always come together. Now I know!

but pretty much any videos posted on yahoo.com behave like this now; this is just a random one I picked as an example.

I'm no seeing all the domains you are?
All I need to allow is:
+yimg.com
+yahoo.com
Otherwise I saw:
-facebook.com
-flickr.com
-telemetryverification.net
-innovid.com
-twitter.com
-serving-sys.com
What settings are you using General -> Left clicking & Appearance ?

I'm having NS show full domains so I can leave things like analytics.yahoo.com disallowed while allowing other things under **.yahoo.com, for example.
Here are my settings:
-telemetryverification.net
-innovid.com
...
-serving-sys.com
I don't get those three for some reason.

Well, these are the domains I Allowed to get it working:

+yimg.com
+media.yql.yahoo.com
+adserver.yahoo.com
+video.yahoo.com
And upon inspection, it _appears_ that adserver.yahoo.com is not a script but an XHR destination, so I'm not sure there's anything to be done
