trusted sites
I have the No Script plug in installed and it works pretty well on most sites but there is an annoying part of it that I don't like. Certain sites that I have already hit "always trust" keep getting blocked by the No Script. Shouldn't a trusted site, be trusted? All the time? Why do I constantly have to keep clicking on "trust" for a site that I completely trust such as Ebay and a few other very well known websites?

Re: trusted sites
Er, you shouldn't have to?
Assuming that by "always trust" you refer to the "Allow [site]" menu item, check viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20780 which describes a similar sounding problem. Any of that help you?

Re: trusted sites
It sounds exactly like the problem that I was having, keep getting No Script warnings for webpages that I already allowed all.
I checked some of the tips, I don't use synch and there is only one profile in the ini.
I tried adding www.ebay.com to the tools > pop up blocker > in Firefox and I didn't see the Noscript message at the bottom of the webpage as I was browsing around. We'll see if this works. I'll have to add a bunch of everyday normal websites to the Firefox pop up blocker exception list.

Re: trusted sites
NoScript has nothing to do with the popup blocker.. or so I would have thought...
If you change some other NoScript setting (for example, add the following line to NoScript Options > Advanced > ABE > USER : )
does that persist?

Re: trusted sites
So far, adding ebay and other website to firefox's pop up blocker is working. I don't see any pop up ads but maybe the NoScript plugin sees some of the ads/banners on these websites as pop ups?

Re: trusted sites
Well that's *really* odd, as far as I know NoScript blocks popups only incidentally...
But hey, if it's working for you (and repeatedly at that, as you indicate), thanks for this information because we would probably never have come up with that (seemingly crazy) solution!
Cheers
