noscript options not working

heres my problem...

i have no script...
i have had no script for many years...
recently about 2 months ago...
the appearance is gone, i cant block or unblock a script... i have the option to change the appearance to make it come back but whenever i go into the options menu of no script and recheck all the appearance buttons, and click ok... nothing happens... it sort of resets with nothing fixed....

im at my wits end...
and i dont know what to do...
please if you could speak to me like im an idiot and dont use too much tech jargon...

What I'll do instead is speak to you like you're someone of average intelligence who is just ignorant. Are you OK with that or do you really want to be treated like an idiot?
