does this thing not work anymore?

I used NoScript a long time ago, it was great.

Reinstalled it several times recently, including tonight... and it does nothing.

I go to a site like the Marvel wiki, and I can barely even surf. Lag lag lag. And NoScript blocks nothing.

I thought it used to have a window pop up in the lower right corner, giving options per a particular site that it would remember. It doesn't do any of that nowadays. Doesn't really seem to do anything.

???

scan your system for malware
use your antivirus, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (the free version will do), & maybe AdwCleaner

Ok, I'll give it a whirl, but I scan w/ Spybot, Maleawarebytes, and Avast somewhat frequently.

That's probably me.

Either I happened once and only once not to choose to "Remember Password" for this particular forum and didn't remember login info... or you have one of those forums / sites where login is such a convoluted mess where it gets easy for stuff to get messed up, usernames / passwords mixed up, etc.

Now excuse me while I type in a confirmation code just to post. ;)

Hmm.. strange.

Please create a clean profile from scratch. Install only NoScript latest development build, leaving all the defaults.
Does the problem still exist?
If not, what if you then import your NS settings into the clean profile using the Import and Export buttons *on the very bottom* of NS Options?
If that still doesn't reproduce the problem, it's something else in your profile borking NoScript, probably another extension... try Standard Diagnostic (leaving NS enabled) to isolate and correct the real cause.

Let us know, thanks.

Re: the login issue, click "Login" at the upper right hand corner of the page and type your username and your password, and that should be all you need to do...
