I cannot download sotware updates from file hippo.com
Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, i have Windows 7 64--bit. Trend--micro for security. I have No--Script version 2.6.9.22. I am unable to download software updates from file hippo.com. When i try to download software updates form file hippo.com I get right underneath the browser a notification, Request (Get http://192.168.1.1:8181 etc. there is more I could not copy it all. When I click on option for the referenced notification. I get General,Whitelist, Embeddings,Appearance, Notifications, Advanced. These options will take effect or manually reloaded. Pages untrusted, trusted, XSS, HTTPS, ABE, Clear Click. What am I to make all of this ? What do I need to do to download the software updates ? Thank you. Claudis.

Why does a site you download software from require to access your local network first? (Is 192.168.1.1 your router?)
You can view and copy the entire message from the Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J), it should start with "[ABE]"

Yes, that's it:
I don't know what's going on there, that really doesn't look right to me.
I would suggest to either just download the software from the official sites (adobe.com in this case) - or, if this really matters to you: contact the filehippo webmasters, point them to this thread, and ask why their site is trying to access your local network. This looks like it could just be an unfortunate typo on their end.
If you do contact them, please let us know the response.

Re: I cannot download sotware updates from file hippo.com
Is it only filehippo where you cannot download from?
Wonder if its not your A/V or some sort of proxy setup that is causing the redirection?
What A/V do you use?

What does A/V mean ? File hippo.com is the only one that has that type of download from the internet. I can download from Microsoft and the computer manufacture with no problem. i am going to contact file hippo, to see what they say. Thank you. Claudis.
