block web bugs

How do you block web bugs in no script. Should be under forbid web bugs in advanced/options. Is that the same as forbid book marklets?

You can't "block web bugs" but you might be able to fashion an ABE rule to that effect.

Was it possible in earlier versions.? i have seen people says advanced/ options/ forbid web bugs

Yes it was but it depended on the HTML parsing methods of Firefox < 4 .. give me a moment to dig up the forum topic about it...
