Flashgot media blinks after every entrance to gmail. It "finds" a small 8kb mp3 file - gmail chat message.

So, can you please stop showing flashgot media button on this case ?

I'm adding here another Issue dealing with Flashgot-Media and Gmail. This time it only happens if you also install "Mouseover Popup Image Viewer" userscript.
Issue description: Gmail's info box NOT popping up when hovering on the name of one of the conversation participants.

I actually saw 3 items come through (though I heard nothing, XP), of the form:

Could something like Adblock Plus block that (& so wouldn't be picked up by FlashGot)?

(Virtually never use Gmail's web interface, instead POP.)

I succeeded blocking these 3 small mp3 files with uBlock Origin addon.

- Install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... ck-origin/
(uBlock Origin by Raymond Hill (gorhill) is the the new and better ad blocker - easier on CPU and memory).

- Open Gmail
- goto uBlock's request log page (see the arrow in the screenshot)



- filter by Gmail and ".mp3"



- click Create
- click reload to reload the gmail tab
- The result : flashgot media can't find these 3 mp3 files and therefore its blinking icon is not displayed.

This solution also solved my second issue (Gmail's info box NOT popping up - https://greasyfork.org/en/forum/discussion/3363/x )
