Any Mac (Browser Built In) / FlashGot / SeaMonkey 2.33 issues ?

Bug 1142259 - Installed SM 2.33. Flashgot no longer works.

I'm no FlashGot expert but would it be useful for me to grab latest development build and try it out on my local server?
(Can't run OS X 10.10 "Yosemite" but I do have Mac OS X 10.7.)

Sure.
FlashGot Link on some file & see if it downloads, successfully.

Meant to ask in the Bug (better here though) if FlashGot was working in earlier SeaMonkey's (like 2.32.1).

Nope.

Tested a completely clean profile, all defaults.

Tried to FlashGot Link a 214 KB .pdf file.
Download manager just sits there at "Not Started".
Zero byte file created but nothing downloaded.
However according to server logs, request was sent to the server and response was 200 OK.

The following message in Error Console is the only that might be related (sorry for typos, I can't copy&paste from there to here):

Code: Select all

No chrome package registered for chrome://dta-modules/content/support/filtermanager.js
(repeated twice)

Confirmed.

Confirmed (once I figured out how to do that).

> external download managers (Free Download Manager, GetRight) seem to work properly

Confirmed.

Flashgot 1.5.6.11 has fixed the problem. Very impressed with how quickly the issue was resolved.

A couple confirms.
Good enough for me, thanks :-).

Hi, long time user here, have made a couple of donations, thanks much for this great Firefox add-on.

A few days ago, automatic download broke in Firefox 22 (which I have frozen at). I checked your reported bugs and this seamonky bug fix was listed, latest development download fixed it. (v 1.5.6.11)

Yesterday FlashGot automatic install happened again and automatic download broke again. I tried latest stable and development installs but this time not fixed.

I have in past selected FlashGot not be automatically re-installed as has broke in past and if it ain't broke... but I cannot find that option now. I would have froze it. I don't expect all the latest to work on my old Firefox 22. but it has until this recent problem.

If I could download the previous version that was working I would try it, but couldn't see a list of versions.

I have closed and opened Firefox a couple of times but haven't rebooted PC. (have some stuff going on). Anyway, maybe next download will fix it.

thanks

update: trying again a little later (downloads on Youtube) a couple of 1080p of the commercial downloaded, but not any of the video.

Thought that info may help.

thanks
