Problem with firefox since last update

Post by starwood »

I have no script 2.6.9.16 and firefox 36.0.1. Ever since the last update I keep getting not responding when I click on different firefox windows for a few seconds. This stops when I disable no script. Is there a problem with the last update?

The last Firefox update or the last NoScript update? If you don't know it would be helpful if you could isolate which it is, and which exact version introduced the problem. First try older NoScript versions (rc's only please), then upgrade your NoScript back to 2.6.9.16 and try the prior Firefox version.

Old NoScript versions are available at
https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/noscript/versions
*or*

Old Firefox versions are available here
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

The last no script update before the last update (because I got an update yesterday).

Disable all extensions except for NoScript, restart FF, & see if the problem persists.
