Help Noscript & online ordering Prob Asda Direct UK

Hello I am hoping someone can help me as I am being baffled by this problem..

Customer services at Asda cannot help me, nor apparantly can their technical dept, instead Im being advised to use Internet Explorer instead of Firefox! ( I do not liek IE and would prefer to use FF WITH Noscript)

There never used to be a problem ordering online from Asda WITH FF & Noscript so Im assuming something MUST have changed at their end

Description of Problem
+++++++++++++++++++++

Problem started in December when trying to order Christmas presents online at Asda

No matter what size of clothing I chose to buy (add to my basket) when I went to the checkout my basket Clothing Items Sizes had changed ( & this problem is STILL happening today) Eg If I order a size 20 I find at checkout I only have size 8 ? But it can happen with ANY of the sizes its driving me potty

Workaround: The ONLY way we ( Asda Cust Services & myself) could get this to work, was for me to phone them & ask them to empty my basket & place items in my basket (which is crazy)... then we close the call & I would simply go through check-out & pay.

Noscript Info: There seem to be tons of scripts that HAVE to run in order to even shop at Asda online now & Unless I allow EVERY script on the page to run temporarily I cannot seem to even use the site

PLEASE can someone help me with this

Regards

Ttam

Oh wow, that is a LOT of scripts! Never seen so many!

Anyway, the site doesn't work for me even with NoScript disabled.

Hi Can anyone help me with this I orig posted back in Feb ?

barbaz THANK YOU for replying & YES indeed there are a LOT of scripts running on this site...

________________________________________________________________________________________________

I am somewhat surprised that others haven't replied, am I posting in the wrong place, or doing something wrong with noscript?

I too, find the amount of scripts running on Asda's site eye opening & I don't want to have to go through the hassle of explaining everything to customer services EVERY time I want to place an order & have them put items in my basket with the intention of me checking out & paying at my end.

I also get frustrated as the cart blanche response Ive had from Store " IT Depts" wherever there is a browser issue, is to insist I Stop using Noscript & if problem persists use Chrome or IE & def NOT Firefox.. a) I REALLY dont want to do that and b) isn't that somewhat slopey shouldered on their part ?

Once again I look forward to your replies

Thanks in advance for all your help

What more help can we give? It looks like their problem, nothing to do with NoScript.

 Can you speak with your money and shop elsewhere?

You're welcome.
Also that many scripts / script sources is just asking for something to not work, regardless NoScript or browser or anything else.

Does it actually work in IE? Likewise Chrome/Chromium?

Barbaz indicated that it didn't work for him even with NoScript disabled. Does that occur for you as well?
