[RESOLVED] 2.6.9.7 silently disables scripts on Pale Moon

Running PM 25.1.0, I noticed earlier today that Stack Overflow was reporting a problem with site scripts being blocked. That was annoying, but I assumed it was transient at first. Then I tried a search with Bing, and when the scripts there failed to function also, I realized something was seriously awry.

Turns out upgrading from 2.6.9.6 to .7 somehow completely broke whitelisted script execution (temporary and permanent) on Pale Moon, so I hastily reverted and all scripts are back to normal. That's absolutely a showstopper.

Confirming the same problem, also on Palemoon, 25.1.0. On 2.6.9.7 (And the RC), when temporarily allowing domains and reloading, the scripts are still blocked but show as being allowed on NoScript. A global allow lets everything function, but then there's no point in using NoScript. Reverting back to 2.6.9.6 fixes everything.

Confirmed that it was a bug (ups.com woudln't let me change the text tag of packages, I couldn't login on a hobby store).
Also confirmed 2.6.9.8rc2 fixes the problem.
(I was wondering what was going on)

Thanks for the quick response, Giorgio. RC2 seems fine now that I've had a chance to try it. :)
