[RESOLVED] 2.6.9.7 Temp Permissions broken

I was happily running 2.6.9.6 (or maybe even 2.6.9.7rc1) on Firefox ESR 24.8.1. After updating NoScript to 2.6.9.7rc2 (or maybe it was 2.6.9.7rc1), Temporary Permissions no longer seem to work. I have to "Allow Scripts Globally" to get pages to operate correctly. For example, I have not whitelisted any Microsoft domains, so by default the following page won't work without temporarily allowing microsoft.com:
https://support.microsoft.com/kb/3024777
That works fine with 2.6.9.6, but not 2.6.9.7rc2 or newer (or maybe it was 2.6.9.7rc1). I have reverted to 2.6.9.6 for now. Perhaps it's limited to https pages- I'm not sure, maybe it's because I'm using an outdated Firefox release (although it's only one ESR release old), or maybe there's some other conflicting extension. I thought I should report it just in case it's important, or if other users are experiencing the same thing.

noticed this too on the latest update, for some reason it blocks everything i allowed, i found a workaround for this by blocking and re-allowing them, though i would rather see a fix for this as there are just way too many specific things to re-allow

Sounds like a problem specific to older Geckos (< 31, which is current ESR), though I couldn't reproduce yet.
Investigating, thanks.
Facebook getting nasty?

As of today, I can longer login to facebook while using NoScript. I used to simply allow facebook.com and akamaihd.net, and everything would work fine. Today, even though I allow these domains, FB still tells me that the site "doesn't work without Javascript enabled". There is a persistent "?_fb_noscript=1" in the URL, which makes clear that it recognizes the presence of NS.
Is no one else having this problem?

Thanks! Yes... apparently I forgot to mention that I was running FF 24.8.0. Glad to see that it's a temporary incompatibility and that my original fear is probly unfounded

Maybe it's time to go up to 31 anyway...

Same issue, let's just merge the two threads.

Confirmed in PaleMoon 24.6.2, Temporarily allow doesn't work in 2.6.9.8rc1 but Allow does.
Only NoScript related message in the Browser Console is
Code: Select all
this._domUtils.getAllStyleSheets is not a function @ jar:file:///home/*****/.moonchild%20productions/pale%20moon/***************/extensions/%7B73a6fe31-595d-460b-a920-fcc0f8843232%7D.xpi!/components/noscriptService.js:6202
but that's not likely to be relevant...

2.6.9.8rc2 seems to be working fine for me on Fx ESR 24.8.1. Thanks Giorgio! Also, thanks to those who confirmed the bug.
