noscript prevents firefox from closing

Firefox won't close properly with noscript enabled. The window closes but I must go to task manager and kill the firefox process to completely close it. this does not happen with noscript disabled. I have the most recent version of both firefox and noscript. I'm on Win 7.

Does it work if you use the 'Blank' new tab page? (Open a new tab, click the settings cog at the top right, and choose Blank)

An extensions conflict, most likely.
Please use Standard Diagnostic|sd to find out which other extension(s) prevent Firefox from closing when NoScript is enabled too.

Well, that's plain weird.
Could you try NoScript Options|Export for future reference/restore, then NoScript Options|Reset?

I already tried a reset (and lost all my whitelist entries but no big deal) with no success.
