Thanks

The one I got when I bought No Script and dug out before reinstalling No Script. But No Script is working fine, so I conclude that I didn't need it. I appreciate being able to reinstall without hassle.barbaz wrote:what serial number?
Erm.. NoScript is free software, it's not for sale...annieoakley wrote:The one I got when I bought No Script and dug out before reinstalling No Script.
Can you be more specific please (maybe give an example)?annieoakley wrote:In the meantime, I can't get Java Script to work. Is No Script blocking it? It is not in the little dropdown menu.
I have been tinkering all day. I learned that Java and Java Script are not identical and got Java Script to work most of the time. I don't know which part of the tinkering succeeded.barbaz wrote:Erm.. I upgraded to the paid version -- three computers for 1 year,
$29.00.

No such version of NoScript, there's only the release version and dev build and both are free. That's it.annieoakley wrote:I upgraded to the paid version -- three computers for 1 year,

Whatever you do, first uninstall all of those, and get the latest version from the official site (you need to go there in Firefox).annieoakley wrote:I used the convenient link they provided to install Adobe Flash and I can open my control panel and see 4 (four!!) Adobe Flash programs that were downloaded today -- but the site continues to ask me to install Adobe Flash.
Well, on their homepage http://www.accessfayetteville.org/, (Temp-)Allowing *only* the following got it working AFAICTannieoakley wrote:The site I am talking about is accessfayetteville.org -- for some reason I have to type "accessfayetteville" in to my search engine to get there. At the top of the page there is a huge, red link to the Fayetteville Alert System, and directly to the right of that is a small, gray link to The Government Channel. and that goes to the video and the request to download Adobe Flash.
