Hi, As I mentioned I have been using no script for quite some time but recently I can't work it. The only way to get websites I commonly use to display anything is to uninstall No Script. I have checked the thing about https and made sure it is set to "never" but it is, My issue sounds like the one mentioned in relation to this in the FAQ, basically beyond the top level e.g. "ebay" I can't see any other scripts to allow or deny, whereas before there may be up to 6 scripts there. I want to keep using NS so I hhope someone can point out how to get things back on track. Apologies if this topic has been answered before, I only have a basic understanding of internet terms and found it quite hard going to even read the FAQ!

Such as?

So the pages come up entirely blank?

> I can't see any other scripts to allow or deny

Do have Options | Trusted | Cascade permissions enabled?

Assuming you don't have a lot of personalized sites/settings, you could do a 'Reset'.
Or backup first then do the Reset.

Thanks for getting back to me therube

I said > I can't see any other scripts to allow or deny

you said - Do have Options | Trusted | Cascade permissions enabled?

that seems to have done the trick for ebay at least, but it is a concern because usually I wouldn't want 3trd party scripts allowed by default. There still isn't the option to select which scripts to allow or deny. Do you know what has changed?

as for your other questions...

> websites I commonly use

Such as? Ebay, channel 4 on demand, facebook, anything microsoft

So the pages come up entirely blank?

It's as if the standard frames are there but the user-specific content is missing

Is that a reset of firefox or no script? (I told you I was a plank) Because I have most if not all passwords saved to FF and don't have a hope of remembering them so would avoid this if at all possible.

I would really appreciate your response :D
