I've read a good bit on this topic. Seems the idea has been circulating a number of years - no progress?

Why no options in NoScript to permanently whitelist individual 3rd party scripts (trackers) - on a per-site basis?
Not just have "temporarily allow all on this page," which also allows scripts from temporarily allowed 3rd parties on all other visited sites - during that browser session. Isn't that correct?

(example names only): Why does temporarily allowing Bazaarvoice on Lowes.com mean allowing it on all other sites, during that session?

Why should permanently allowing ecorebates.com on Lowes.com mean allowing it on all other sites?
Many addons allow per site permissions or denials.

Seems like if users decide to trust something, it's probably the site they're visiting / using / doing business on.
They may trust Lowes.com to allow 3rd party scripts (to make the site work), but don't trust allowing those same 3rd parties on every other site visited.
Allowing 3rd party tracking across multiple sites (for same computer) is where profile building becomes really valuable to trackers.

The key point here is that you are asking for a privacy feature, but NoScript is a security tool.

Trackers are a secondary concern. NoScript focuses on sites actually attacking you: trojans, cross-site scripting, clickjacking, cross-zone attackers, etc. Either a site is malicious - everywhere - or it is not.

If you want a privacy tool, then there are already plenty of good ones, such as Adblock Plus and its various forks.
