Empty network error pages
Empty network error pages
There is a anoying bug in NoScript which destroys the errorpages from firefox. Sometimes when i vitit a website i get a (timeout?) errorpage, but noscript blocks the error message. repair it.

Re: Empty network error pages
NoScript version?
What do you mean by "block", exactly?
Do you get any error message in Tools|Error Console.

Re: Empty network error pages
I have this problem since month, in the error console are no errors. Actually i've installed Version 1.9.5. I saw that error on Fx 2.0.x, 3.0.x and 3.5.x.
The error page looks like about:neterror without title or any messages, but with the security override link and the retry button.

Re: Empty network error pages
Is it "about:certerror"?
Does the NoScript menu show anything?
Could you upgrade to 1.9.6.6 and see if the problem persists?
If it does, could you try NoScript Options|Reset after exporting your current configuration?

Re: Empty network error pages
I've done the update to 1.9.6.6, but how should i repreduce a network error?
When i click on the noscript icon in the status bar it looks like js would be disabled for "[about:neterror]"
in case of a "normal" network timeout everything works proper (except the webserver
)
I don't belive that it's depending on my whitelist, because i saw that error on different machines (XP 32Bit, Vista 32Bit and Vista 64Bit).

Re: Empty network error pages
Hrm, are you using "Scripts globally allowed"?
If not, could you check that the noscript.docShellJSBlocking about:config preference has its default value, i.e. 1?

I cannot be sure that it was deactivated everytime when i saw that bug, but today it was definitly not activated.
On my computer noscript.docShellJSBlocking has the value 1.

Re: Empty network error pages
Any other extension capable of blocking scripts?

Just the web developer toolbar which was not used. Maybe Adblock Plus but I don't belive it.
