I don't know what happened, but for the last two days, the NoScript icons on Firefox are dulled out. The options bar at the bottom is gone on many, but not all, sites. Sites keep telling me I need to enable Java. Which means NoScript is being used to block ALL Java, while remaining unusable for ME.
I've been attacked online by hackers before. So I just reinstalled NoScript. No good.
What can I do to make it usable again? Is it possible some setting I made myself caused it? If so, what? I can't think of anything.
It's gotten so that if I want to use NoScript, I have to give up on having ANY Java at all. I can't do any searches, even with Duck Duck Go. They think Java is disabled. And so it probably IS, but not by ME.
I'd have trouble believing this is only happening to me. How many others are being hit by this?
I also wish I could get NoScript for other browsers.

Re: Something hit Firefox - Noscript unusable
there is a big difference between "java" and "javascript"...
duckduckgo does not use "java"...
check about:config > javascript.enabled?
most likely you will need to do Standard Diagnostic to find and fix the cause of this issue
please let us know the results, thanks

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
