[RESOLVED] Problems with Noscript 2.6.8.38 and Yahoo email

Sorry for my english its not my native language. With the update to NoScript version 2.6.8.38 I am having problems with Yahoo mail because I can't delete emails from the spam folder or trash. When I try to delete an email marking individually or all at once, the screen turns gray transparent and not delete confirmation dialog appears. So far I have not had any problems with Yahoo mail and NoScript and of course everything is fine with previous versions including 2.6.8.36.
I think this problem may be related to changes made in version 2.6.8.38 regarding Yahoo mail but not sure. Is there any way to fix this? Because of this problem I had to revert to NoScript version 2.6.8.36.
Here's what gets written to the browser consule when I try to delete an email from spam or trash folder:
"DARLA notice: 521"
"caughterror:..-build-mail-ui-darla-neodarla:1"
"DARLA notice: 506"
"caughterror:..-build-common-utils-use:2"
"Exception in use _shared_module_offscreen_bin_modal_btns_ok_cancel callback: TypeError: Al.render.RenderMgr is undefined"
Thanks in advance.

Are you using the (semi)Classic or new version of Yahoo mail?
Is the 2.6.8.36 release newer or older then the #dev version
2.6.8.38rc2?
2.6.8.38rc2 & Yahoo Mail Classic are working for me.

Allways use the new version of Yahoo email. NoScript 2.6.8.36 is the previous stable version, and no problems so far. Updated to NoScript 2.6.8.38 final release from the official website of mozilla addons. Firefox 31 ESR channel.

You're right therube the problem seems to be that only affects the new version of Yahoo mail and NoScript 2.6.8.38. The semi(classic) version of Yahoo Mail works smoothly.

Stable/final version 2.6.8.38 now working with YouTube using Firefox 32b9, build 1; however, I could not read my Yahoo!Mail ... clicking my new mail in my inbox shows blank then crashed page. I am using regular Yahoo webmail. SYSTEM INFO: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, Intel i5 CPU 750 @3.61GHz, NVDIA GeForce 570, 32GB RAM, and Adobe Flash Player Beta 15.0.0.130.

Yeah, I have the same problem with Yahoo! Mail messages and NS v2.6.8.38; nothing is displayed in the body of the message. Of course, reverting to 2.6.8.36 fixes the issue completely.
This is not really a major issue for me due to the fact that I use MS Outlook for email, but it certainly is annoying knowing that I don't have the option to use Yahoo! Mail and the latest version of NoScript. Further, I don't believe I have the option to use the "Classic" version of Yahoo! Mail since I actually have Yahoo! business mail.

Just to add a bit more information, NoScript v2.6.8.37 works just fine for me with Yahoo! mail; it seems to have broken starting with the first 2.6.8.38 RC build.

Notice that this whole mess is caused by an idiotic website implementation pattern which may get broken by security-driven browser standard changes in a (hopefully near) future, see
my comment in the
relevant Mozilla bug.
Anyway, please try
latest development build 2.6.8.39rc1, thanks.

Thank you very much for the fix, NoScript 2.6.8.39rc1 has solved the problem and do not know how but now Yahoo mail loads faster than ever.

I completely agree with Giorgio. The Yahoo mail website is a complete mess. Does anyone understand this code that is repeatedly showing the browser console and causes temporary lockups of Firefox and slows down the loading time?
"darla csc writer, invalid host (0)"
"[DARLA NoScript Surrogate]
https://s.yimg.com/rq/darla/2-8-1/html/r-sf.html"
"[DARLA NoScript Surrogate] Error: Permission denied to access property 'host'"

Please check
latest development build 2.6.8.39rc2, which should handle both the mail breakage and the locks.

It seems that all is well now with NoScript 2.6.8.39rc2, all functionality is working properly and no lockups for now, although I prefer to be cautious and wait for the opinions of other users who are having this problem with Yahoo mail and its annoyances.
It's invaluable the effort and hard work that makes Giorgio to make our browsing experience as safe as possible with the NoScript addon. My most sincere gratitude to him and all the contributors to this forum.

Standard Diagnostic (leaving noscript enabled the whole time) should help you isolate and correct whatever is causing this
please let us know the results, thanks

I reinstalled the dev noscript version 2.6.8.39rc2. All is well. The icon reappeared. Also, just to let you know, yahoo email loads really fast now. I don't know what you did but thanks!!!
