WAMP, Wordpress and WooCommerce

Post by WhiteRau »

whenever i install the WooCommerce plugin and then install the WooCommerce pages via the link the plugin offers, i get an XSS error AND, more importantly, NONE of the pages get created/loaded. this same thing happens when i try to import product databases into the site: all kinds of data corruption. very UNhelpful in a dev shop. how can i kill this for 'localhost' based URLs. i don't EVER want to see XSS interception from my localhost. EVER. EVER. EVER.

thanks. :)

I don't think it's smart to allow all potential XSS to your localhost! :o
However, if you want help creating an XSS exception, please reproduce the problem and post here the related message(s) you see from NoScript in the Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J). They will start with either "[NoScript" or "[ABE]".
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

no, i agree! i should have clarified "while working with WAMP & Wordpress". i'll post the error next time i install WooCommerce. had to disable NoScript to get moving on this job.
