FlashGot doesn't see flv on BBC radio webpages

I'm using FireFox on Ubuntu Linux to play audio-only FLV files on the BBC radio website. The files play in the browser using the embedded Adobe Flash player, but FlashGot doesn't see them for some reason. When playing them in FireFox on Windows, Internet Download Manager directly detects them and downloads them (without using FlashGot), so I know it's possible to intercept them from the website. However, in order to download them on my linux system, I need FalshGot to recognize them so the download manager can get the download link.
Can FlashGot be configured or fixed to recognize those files so I can use it with the BBC radio website?

I forgot to mention that FlashGot is working fine for me on other sites, such as Youtube. So I'm sure it's installed and configured correctly. It's just that it doesn't work on the BBC site.

Well, for some reason, this forum is cutting the URLs short when I enter them with the "http://" prefix. So here they are without the prefix:
www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/programmes/schedules/fm/today
www.bbc.co.uk/radio4extra/programmes/schedules/today

They're using rtmp which FlashGot cannot see.
Code: Select all
rtmp://bbcodspdns.fcod.llnwd.net:80/a5999/e1?as=adobe-hmac-sha256&av=1&te=connect&mp=prod_rb2_flv_aac_low_intl/iplayerstream/bUnknown-4cbee496-3eb1-43e2-9de6-46e1adcd7ac0_b049yjt5_1406129114047.mp4&et=1406239087&fmta-token=81231dbce4e6cc8ba1e87f6d02cf94b16e1e877c7beab64d7662b2608c372474<break>mp4:prod_rb2_flv_aac_low_intl/iplayerstream/bUnknown-4cbee496-3eb1-43e2-9de6-46e1adcd7ac0_b049yjt5_1406129114047.mp4 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b049yjwy http://emp.bbci.co.uk/emp/releases/smp-flash/revisions/1.9.26/1.9.26_smp.swf?1.9.26 [4]CAAAAAAAAAk=
In the case of
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b049yjwy it's not even a "video" (in the expected sense) as there is only audio in the "clip".
Oh, & if you right-click the clip | Properties, it even mentions "RTMP".

Well, OK then, I guess a need a better program than FlashGot. Under Windows, Internet Download Manager sees it and downloads it as an audio-only FLV file, which then plays fine in any video player. And, of course, the Adobe Flash Player module plays it in the browser. So clearly it's possible with the right software. I just need to find a Linux program that can see it and download it.

Well, FlashGot doesn't download anything, it just connects you to your download manager of choice. If you can determine the exact URL, you should be able to pass that to any download manager that can handle it.
