Old time user, first time question

Post by rob.g »

I've been using NoScript for a long time, and recently I've noticed that a random onslaught of sites have seemed to tag onto almost everywhere I go to. I'd like to check to see if this is me being overly skeptic or if there's actually something I should be doing. Hopefully I can get some light shed on this. If anyone can help me out with this, that would be great, because this is honestly a very weird thing and it's been bothering me the past few days.

*EDIT: Everything blocked is unknown to me.

Again, if anyone can help me out with these sites, that would be great. Thanks in advance!

scan your entire system for malware and check your browser for malicious extensions
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

True religion, which dares to acknowledge death and challenge the way we live, is an attempt to wake up.

Hey! I did a full sweep, and I get nothing, and there's nothing out of the ordinary otherwise. Any other ideas?

So yeah, I just uninstalled and reinstalled, and it's clean. I didn't want to do it until it felt like I was getting nowhere, but it's done and it's all gone. I'm going to try to create a log of sites I was at over the past while and avoid as many as I can.

Thanks anyways, time to fix up Firefox...

Please make your post titles relevant to the problem or issue so that reasonable people can find it without expecting to waste their time with "How you doin?".
