Recently I have been using Flashgot to rip mp3s off of grooveshark which has for the most part been fairly simple and effective until roughly early June when all of the Downloaded files have been downloading empty. I have only experienced this problem one time before with Download Helper on Youtube.

I'm having the same problem. Had hoped that maybe just my IP had been flagged and blocked. Consistent 403 Forbidden errors on everything I've tried to dl. Is there a solution to this or is Grooveshark effectively gone as a resource?

A "fixed" version (made by user) was posted here, http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopi ... =6&t=16397.

I never did test it, so don't know if it worked (or if it will work now, or if the changes he implemented were merged back into FlashGot)?

The user-fixed version has been deleted from the file server...Could anyone re-up? Thanks

EDIT: For anyone else in the same boat, I've been using Groovesquid while waiting for FlashGot to be functional again and it works just fine, though, the UI could use a little polish.

I'm also using Groovesquid and I have to say I think its much more effective than Flashgot for this site

The downloads are extremely quick for me with Groovesquid, maybe half the time it would take with FlashGot. But I prefer the actual Grooveshark UI; it was easier for me to find what I was looking for with it.

They were, and it still works now, but not with any download manager. It works with the built-in one and should work with any one that allows to specify custom request headers (assuming FlashGot passes those headers to it).
