I accidentally selected "save" instead of "open" for the default action for downloaded PDF files. Is there a way to reset FlashGot default actions? Uninstall and reinstall of FlashGot did not resolve the problem. Do I assume that the default actions are incorporated into my Firefox profile?

That choice is not proposed by FlashGot, but by Firefox itself.
You can revert/reconfigure it in Firefox's own "Applications" Options tab.
