Squashed toolbar icon

Post by Toksic »

Using: Windows 7, Firefox 29, NoScript 2.6.8.23

I am having a problem with the NoScript toolbar icon being squashed when it is positioned anywhere on the navigation bar:

It looks normal when placed on the bookmarks toolbar. I did a search on this forum and found one thread related this problem but the suggested solution, to check the "Use small icons" option in Customize, no longer seems to be available in FF 29.

I am using a custom theme but when I reverted to the default FF theme, the icon still looks squashed.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Any change if you disable the persona/theme?
Any change if you disable all other extensions?

Took a wild guess at the cause, and can confirm the behavior in Pale Moon even with the NS icon just in the addon bar.
The workaround: NoScript Options -> General -> CHECK "Open permissions menu when mouse hovers over NoScript icon".

This is a valid bug, I'm off to go bump the other thread.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

No change after turning off custom theme and all other extensions - the icon is still squashed.

I tried the workaround suggested by barbaz and it worked. Thanks @barbaz! :)
