my ns list is upside down. how do I fix

Post by cowardly stranger »

I looked in options, I can't find an Ascending/descending order button. It did this all by itself. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I have the same question. Annoying after all these years to adjust to an upside-down list. Can find no option outside of Firefox to correct this.

@therube, they're on Fx 28.
@others: make sure you have noscript latest development build, then just move your noscript icon to a different toolbar

Right, I saw that.
But I thought (perhaps wrongly) that the "reversing" started with 29?
(If nothing else, it feels good to blame everything on "29" ;-).)

There were a few versions after 2.6.8.20 where the menu displayed below the toolbar button (what we would get if the NS icon were in our bookmarks toolbars) was in the same order as our statusbar icon menu.

Firefox. Not Gecko. Gecko 29 (read "SeaMonkey 2.26") works really well for me, even better than previous versions in some ways.
(I did try Australis just once, and that was the worst 30 seconds of web browser experience I ever had. Good thing SeaMonkey devs actually care about the end users.)

Dammit I answered this and submitted. Didn't realize it did not take. I was on 28 when it started, yesterday. I updated to 29 about 18 hours ago, and that did not help. My NoScript updated this morning, i think 2.6.8.21 is the version

But not to the latest. (it might have been yesterday). At anyrate, I took barbaz's advice and it went back to normal. The latest build I got was 2.6.8.23

Thank you everyone for your help!
