[Resolved] Menu is ordered upside down

Post by Anonymousger »

Hello everyone!

When Firefox was updated to version 29 I had to rearrange the position of the Noscript-icon. Firefox v29 placed it at the top of the window nearby the new menu-button of the Firefox.
I put it back at the bottom into the addon-bar.

But now the menu of noscript is messed up. The entries are shown upside down, as if the Noscript-button is still on the top of the window.

You can see the problem in this screenshot: http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/l ... a-png.html
The circle shows where the entries are at the moment and the arrow indicates where they should be.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you very much! :D
That fixed my problem.
I only looked at the changelog of the stable version.

When I updated recently, I found that my menu items were also in the reverse order, but I have my NoScript icon in the top menu bar. I was able to resolve it by entering "Customize" mode, dragging the icon out of my toolbar, exiting and re-entering "Customize" mode, and re-adding the icon to my toolbar. Hope that helps any future readers...

i experienced the same problem, with noscript's menu being in reverse-order, with FF 29..

in my case, it didn't seem to make any difference, whether the noscript-button was in the toolbar at the top or the toolbar at the botton..the menu seemed to be in reverse, in both cases..

on a side note, i think that the changes that mozilla made to FF's GUI, with FF 29, were stupid and unnecessary..

I use firefox and this fix only seems to work until the browser is shut down, then it goes back to being upside down. Could someone in developement please fix this, its rather annoying. Why was it reversed in the first place?

@Thoron:The new NoScript toolbar button menu is currently quite buggy in non Australis browsers. You might try updating NS to 2.6.8.22, but unfortunately, it's likely your best bet will be to downgrade NS to 2.6.8.20 until it's all sorted out.

EDIT 2.6.8.23 seems to have worked out most of the bugs. If anyone is still having this issue try upgrading NS.

I'm seeing this with v 2.6.8.36
When browser window is full screen, menu is normal -- but when it's half screen, menu is reversed...
