Feeds of Development History from http://noscript.net/getit#devel are not wrapped in NewsFox and so kind of unreadable.

It looks fine in SeaMonkey feed view, but not in NewsFox. Did you try it with NewsFox?

Heh.
I had no idea what NewsFox was?
Thought it was a website or something. (No I've not looked at it.)

Could be it's because NewsFox handles the non-breaking spaces ("&nbsp"), which Giorgio inserts there, in an other way.

I suspect NewsFox is not correctly handling the contents of <pre> tags (newlines in source code should display as newlines, not spaces).
You should report this issue to the NewsFox devs.
Please let us know what they say.

EDIT Confirmed that this is the problem.

Seems NewsFox can handle <pre> tags. There is a fixed bug about that issue https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=15532. So the non-breaking spaces and probably its use in front of the first line may cause the one line.

Hm, does NewsFox insert the non-breaking spaces? Couldn't think of that. So indeed there might be a regression.

Anyway, I never contact developers, who use gmail, and I don't register everywhere.

Must be. If you preview the feed in SeaMonkey browser and go View -> Page Source, you'll see that there are no   anywhere.

In that case, you're probably stuck either trying downgrading NewsFox or using something else to follow the NoScript feed.

I can call the homepage of the feed from NewsFox to get it readable.
BTW, there are Thunderbird bugs about <pre> tags and NewsFox might use some TB code. And it is a regression of what ever, because older NoScript feeds, which look fine, show the one line, if the feed is reloaded.

Thank you for your help and clarification of the issue :-)

Ron Pruitt, one of the developers, told me today, that this issue will be fixed in NewsFox 1.0.9.2.
