what's causing blocking of NBC news?

Post by scripteze »

In another post, I mentioned I've seen a fair number of news sites being at least partly blocked by NS. http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopi ... =7&t=19436
Some (news sites) won't load the main body / text, unless the base domain is allowed in NS.

Based on their experience, a user stated in the other post:
You won't find many big media sites these days that have such a complex lot of scripting - - mainly because those with mobile net connectivity won't stand waiting for so much data
I haven't found that to be true (for desktop). Here's a site / page, that won't load any of the initial page (blank), unless "allow all on this page" is selected:
http://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/sxs ... ins-n48596

Can anyone see specifically which (other) page or object, that's still blocked after selecting "Allow all on this page," once the specific page in line above is loaded? : [nbcnews.com...begins-n48596]).

Thanks.
