Sometimes it would be nice to disable all scripts temporarily, even on whitelisted sites. Is this possible with NoScript?

just don't whitelist sites/domains where you want scripting to be restricted..

if you temporarily allow scripting for a domain, there is an option for "revoke temporary permissions", so then scripting will be restricted for any domains that are not whitelisted..

Just go to about:config and set javascript.enabled to false.

I know that, but that's not the question. I don't want to "revoke temporarily permissions" but "revoke all permissions temporarily". There are sites with a lot permissions - a lot of clicks would be necessary to switch them all.

Thanks but also a lot of clicks/keystrokes... A menu-setting in NoScript would be nice.

If QuickJava isn't the solution the OP's looking for, would they care to expand a little on when they "sometimes" would like to stop all JS?

I thought that NS relies on JS functionality to be toggled "on".
So, a workaround to remove all whitelisted items "temporarily" would be CTRL Shift A and disable NS.

Just the opposite. If you disable NoScript, then everything is allowed.
