Hello everyone!
I have been using FlashGot for awhile now and I've really enjoyed it. It's really reliable and I don't have issues with it usually. However, recently when I've tried to rip videos off of youtube there is no audio in the video. I can open the video on VLC but I am unable to open it on quicktime player despite the file being an mp4. Although the video opens up on VLC, again there is no audio that accompanies the video. Is this happening to anyone else? Are there any suggestions on how I can go about fixing this?
Thank you, much appreciated

Re: Audio Missing from Video
This is a known issue, not with FlashGot, but with YouTube itself, which is serving the video and audio in separate files.

Thank you so much for your speedy reply. Sorry for the repeat topic. I appreciate you linking me to the thread in which other posters discussed the same issue. Hopefully a newer version will fix this issue. Thank you again!

You can download the HQ video part, then the audio track and with for example, Smplayer play both at once, synchronized.

Re: Audio Missing from Video
I'll just point out that not all videos have audio.
Came across one yesterday like that.
Actually It did have "audio", only there was nothing to be heard.
Even the separate Dash .m4a, "audio", played a bunch of nothingness.
(Don't think I actually check the files with MediaInfo, but if I can find the links again...)
