noscript blocks this script but I can find little or nothing about it online. possibly a website that redirects to a travelsite, or mentions of some kind of computer programming. I want to know what bstatic.com is and if I should want to allow it. Thank you.

this appears on *every* site, including this page?
if so, don't allow it, scan your system for malware and try disabling all extensions, themes (if any other than default), and plugins other than noscript (tools -> add-ons manager)

Appears to host static content for bookings.com - The WHOIS record for bstatic.com points to it being owned by bookings.com and I see it when I visit bookings.com with NoScript.

Whether you should allow it depends on if you ever intend to use said service.

As barbaz said though, if you see it on every page, I'd be checking your setup for malware/suspicious plugins.

Only occasionally do I see it. Most recently at netflix, but not today.

edit. I do see it at netflix, when I get to my profile page where all the movies are listed. I forget where I have seen it before. I do not allow it as I do not know what it is and can find little about it on the internet. I am not against all forms of advertising, but my computer is old and slow so I am picky. Also I do not like not knowing what a website is trying to do to me. Thank you.
