No more high CPU through OmniScript.js

Hi users of NoScript.

Some running scripts can put a heavy burden on the old CPU of older systems, like XP SP3, an example that has been blocked because of this is: http://*.symantec.com/content/*/omniture/*/OmniScript.js
How would one properly block all instances of OmniScript.js with general setting of NS?
Can anyone explain?

You can put the following rule in the USER ruleset from NoScript Options|Advanced|ABE:

Code: Select all

Site */*OmniScript.js
Deny

Hi Giorgio,

Thank you for the instructions, set and done, ready to go. Maybe others have other examples of their ABE user tweaks or needs and the reasons they applied these rules for. Mine was to block a script that can under circumstances mean a CPU hog.
Now I am waiting for the reactions of the others here. This will be mighty instructive and also will give the Master, Giorgio Maone, a clue as to what purposes this is being used for,
