Javascript:void(0)

Post by Ottie »

Hi:

I'm having a problem that has almost got me disabling NoScript. I've been using IE to login to the below site, but I'd like to keep using Firefox/NoScript. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The web site I'm trying to visit: http://www.realtor.com

The Sign Up and Log In (both at top and bottom of page) return "Javascript:void(0)" at bottom left of Firefox window. Double-clicking doesn't work and if I Ctrl+click, it just opens a new blank page. I've searched this forum and can't really see any suggestions that worked for me. I've reset NoScript and put realtor.com in WhiteList, but that didn't help.

Starting Firefox in Safe Mode did not help, but when I "reset" Firefox, I could get login. Perhaps I should be writing a Firefox forum but I thought I'd try here.

This is my computer, browser, NoScript configuration

Firefox 26.0
Windows 8.1 64 bit (but had problem under Windows 7 32 bit)
NoScript 2.6.8.7

Let me know if you need any other info.

Thanks
Ottie

After reset firefox, does the problem return if you re-install NoScript?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
