For the download countdown timer to run, I have previously only had to "Temporarily Allow". When I do this now, not only doesn't the countdown start, but "Make Permanent" disappears from the choices, AND "Remove Temporary" doesn't reset anything. I'm not certain exactly when this started (I was there last on Monday, I think).
No other sites seem to be effected. The countdown timer starts and runs correctly in Explorer 8.0 (but I don't trust that program to allow downloads in relative safety from viruses).

It sounds like the site isn't being given temporary permissions at all...can you give more detailed steps to reproduce?
