this is a 'bugreport' of sorts.

I'm trying to install and use FlashGot for the second time.
There first time was on Nightly 27'ish and now it's (Firefox) Nightly (central) 29.0a1 (2013.12.11).
The first time, I uninstalled because I didn't like FlashGot running all the time and poping up on downloads. It's supposed to 'just enable KGet, not it's self.
This time, on a clean Nightly directory, installed FlashGot from FlashGot website > asked to Restart FF
FireFox took 5 minutes to 'restart' .
During the Restart process my KDE Plasma desktop Crash so bad, it did not restart on it's own.
I had to Alt+F2 > kstart plasma-desktop

running openSuSE 12.3 and KDE 4.11.4 (kwin) both up to date.

FG in Nightly 29 seems to work quite well, except for that plasma crash at install...

I've tested with single downloads (mozilla.org/nightly, ux, aurora files) that I know how long FF takes to download.
Very Nice... Using my systems speed and not the Bloat of FF...
I very much like that I can Quit, even Kill FF process and Download persists... Nice.

Good job on this 'add-on', guys, gals!

ps, the first time i tried FG was from addons.mozilla and had no info on it and I couldn't get FG to leave my systray (annoying!).
I'm thinking I installed a KDE / Linux package and Not just the FF add-on??? don't remember now..
This time i installed from FlashGot.net and, again except for Plasma Crash, am Happy with the results.

One suggestion / request: Put (force) All FlashGot context menu items in to One 'Sub-Menu' !!!

Sorry... looking at my install history (YaST) i see that what I had installed before that was a pain in the A** was FlashGet...

again, sorry for saying the bad experience was FlashGOT..
