ABE: Annoying notifications

When visiting certain sites, ABE is blocking GET requests to third-party ad sites as it should...but it's dropping a notification bar from the top of the screen
every time it does so. Very annoying.
Is there any way to disable this ABE <Deny> notification? (Yes, my settings in the "Notifications" tab are cleared)
If you need to test, visit any page on
www.huffingtonpost.com
My environment is FF3.0.11 on RHEL 5.2 with NoScript 1.9.5

Why not just post the fix here rather than a double re-direction to get the answer?

OK. Install the latest NoScript development build from
http://noscript.net/getit#devel. Please let us know if your problem persists.

I haven't seen these on the Huffington Post but I am getting them on eBay:
Code: Select all
Request {GET http://ad.yieldmanager.com/st?ad_type=iframe&ad_size=728x90&site=136716§ion_code=12796297&cb=1246744730862243&ycg=0&yyob=0&pub_redirect_unencoded=1&pub_redirect=http://pn1.ard.yahoo.com/SIG=160cia49l/M=621216.12796297.13078484.8830312/D=eb_cat/S=97553635:N/Y=EBAY_US/E=ebay:/EXP=1246751930/L=7CnWC9j8fU.nwg8dR5b_cf00R4sZaUpP0JoADQee/B=3xlIBNj8ffM-/J=1246744730862243/K=eZtZpooHSgiOB2VqSTRWQw/A=4977026/R=0/* <<<http://pn1.adserver.yahoo.com/a?c=sh&p=eb&pn=ebay&l=N&f=97553635&pd_x=00&rand=1246744729&kw=lamidex&sig=CShnm_jNo_pQ3N5r5rW7vw--} filtered by ABE: <LOCAL>
Deny
I don't really understand what this new feature is doing or why it is important.
I looked at the FAQ reference above but don't understand how to properly construct a site specific exclusion such as for eBay). I hope you can make this easier to do for us non-programmers.
And when I clicked EDIT in the Options window, I couldn't experiment with editing anyway because I get this message:
Windows cannot open this file:
File: SYSTEM.abe
To open this file, Windows needs to know what program created it. Windows
can go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of
programs on your computer.
What do you want to do?
Use the Web service to find the appropriate program
Select the program from a list

Manually locate 'SYSTEM.abe' (Profile / ABE).
Right-click the file | Open With... Select Notepad (or your preferred text editor). Also click the checkbox that says, "Always use the selected program top open this kind of file".
As to the content of your ABE message, others would have to comment on that.

@
Jojo999:
Your situation is described in
this article.
NoScript 1.9.5.5 (latest dev build) handles it automatically, with no need for you to edit anything.

Generally because a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) is prepared so it answers frequent questions that one would assume the user would read first. So by pointing to it, hopefully future users who have a similar problem would know where to go look for their answers and perhaps get into the habit of looking at information that has been already provided instead of expecting redundant repeats. Hope that helps.
