I love this app. The only thing that is killing me is the fact that when scripts are blocked, due to the way that almost all sites are coded now, the simplest things, such as embedded videos won't play without a script running. Problem is, the scripts don't say: "Video script." And, there are a prohibitive amount of them to justify temporarily allowing all of them individually and reloading the page to isolate which one allows videos for each page.
Is there a way to find out which scripts are necessary for this purpose? A search tool that has all of these scripts in a database? I feel like I am slowing down trackers, but for all it is doing for me, it is slowing me down just as much. I feel like the guy who cuts his dog's legs off to stop him from running away (sorry, writer.) Anyway, any quick fixes to this would be VERY appreciated! Thanks!

Re: List of NECESSARY Scripts?
Unfortunately this is a matter of whether you trust the sites, and how they choose to load their videos.
You should be able to click on the placeholders when videos are blocked. Using permanent permissions on sites that you visit regularly should help to cut down on your work, too.
If you really can't put up with the number of sites that you need to allow, then you could try 'Temporarily allow top-level sites by default', but this takes away a lot of your protection (it's still much better than not having NoScript at all).
It's just not possible to list all necessary scripts, but you get used to the content delivery networks like googleapis.com that keep popping up.

If you use Adblock Plus with more subscriptions than just EasyList, you could search your ABP filters to see if the site(s) you're wondering about is being explicitly filtered. At least this way you might not have to do as much guesswork in most cases.
