Open all in tabs slow down

After no script updated to 1.9.5 'open all in tabs' slowly opens up one tab after another instead of loading all the tabs at the same time. Disabling no script fixes this and open all in tabs works normally.

tried resetting noscript; disabling all other addons ; searched forums for answer to no avail

What is "Open all in tabs"?

I can open an 'Bookmark Group of Tabs' without issue.
I can select a number of bookmarks & 'Open in New Tab' without issue.

'open all in tabs' is a firefox feature for opening up all the bookmarks in a bookmarks folder in new tabs.

And I can 'Open All in Tabs' without issue.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5

I happened to open about 8 bookmarks. How many are you opening?

Noscript 1.9.5.1.

I'm opening 18. Allow me try to be more detailed as to what happens, 3-6 tabs open and then the rest open up one at a time instead of all of them opening instantly.

Same here. I try to open 248 tabs in 16 windows with session manager. It needs a loooooooong time if there is no time out. If I disable NoScript, it will this open all in a very short time.

I'm using FireFox 3.0.11 under Kubuntu 8.04 and the Session Manager 0.66.1 and tried it with the version 0.66 too.

Hope, this will be change in the next version - I'm thinking, NoScript is a really good plug in.

Generally speaking it is not recommended to open so many tabs at once. I don't mean by NS but in general, even Mozilla tells you that. The reason being mostly how many sockets are opened, especially if connecting to pages of the same domain. That being said, I can open up anywhere from 7 to 13 tabs at once with no issue if they are on different domains. However, opening several different pages on the same domain tends to be slow but I have not noticed that to be an issue with NS but Fx in general.

I see something very similar -- about 300 tabs in 6 windows, Firefox 3.0.11 under Windows Vista. Does not complete after several hours under 1.9.5. Was fine under 1.9.3.3.

It should be fixed in latest development build, 1.9.5.5. Could you confirm?

1.9.5.6 seems to be back to the original (fast) opening speeds. (at least in my 20 tab test case)
