facebook lockout with noscript
facebook lockout with noscript
i have noscript and i disabled javascript with it but now when i try to register for a facebook account it says i need to enable javascript. i read that if i enable javascript it will not reveal my ip address because facebook would need to be using SSI with javascript for my real ip address to be shown. can noscript disable SSI from running with javascript so my proxy ip address is shown to facebook and not my real ip?

Re: facebook lockout with noscript
What is SSI?
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) perhaps?
Unless you are using a proxy (& a "good" one at that) your (true) IP will be (& must be known) to the site you are talking to.
And yes, if you are using SSL, then the proxy you use must support that too.
