I paste a url into FF (url is to the DDNS name for my NAS. There is a popup that it has been filtered by ABE <LOCAL> Deny. I don't understand the 'ABE' options to be honest. If I replace the DDNS part with my internal IP, I can access the file OK.
How can I fix this?

If you could post the ABE message (it should be in Error Console, Ctrl+Shift+J).

Re: Noscript not letting me open a page/site
Hi, thanks for the quick reply..
Today, I was mailing myself links but when I clicked the link, Noscript stopped it opening. Copying and pasting the link was OK though - so I thought it must have been a protection from clicking certain links.
However, after (probably!) changing something, even pasting into a new tab gave a noscript error and wouldn't open the page.
I have just completely closed FF and all its tabs (usually it resumes previously opened tabs) though and copying/pasting works again - but links still give the same 'error'.
I've removed anything I felt was 'personal' - but please tell me if this is not sufficient to troubleshoot.
How can I allow these links?
Many thanks again!!
EDIT: it wouldn't let me post the error as it suspected some spam in the message. I tried replacing http with hxxp but to no avail. Anything in particular I need to remove?

Hi mate - it was in CODE tags.
I've tried removing colons, slashes and http etc. Still says it's spam.

Re: Noscript not letting me open a page/site
This is the message the OP got, sent by him through PM:
It looks like he followed a link from his inbox, and since it was an Internet->Intranet request it properly triggered the LOCAL ABE rule.
However the OP also reported this happens after pasting the URL into the navigation bar, which should not trigger at all, unless the DDNS name resolves both to an internal and an external IP. Could you show me the full resolution of the xxxxxdiskstation.synology.me name?
Code: Select all
19:15:23.324] [ABE] <LOCAL> Deny on {GET https://xxxxxdiskstation.synology.me:50 ... ring/xxxxx <<< http://mail.ntlworld.com/mail/?AuthEven ... inbox/xxxx - 6}
SYSTEM rule:
Site LOCAL
Accept from LOCAL
Deny

Re: Noscript not letting me open a page/site
Hi, the name is the 'external' DDNS name of my diskstation. If I ping the full DDNS, it resolves to my External IP address. I would assume that for others it wouldn't ping?
I just re-read my reply and it's not very clear. I can now paste the links into a new tab and they open.
Can I add an exception so that I can click these links?
I can PM you the full DDNS if you like (prefer not to post if that's OK?).
