I'm having a problem with rapidshare too. Every other time a new file starts downloading I get this error:
I've never used Explorer at all though, so maybe I'm missing something? Java is fully updated via firefox.

Script error when loading any page in Flashget

Whenever I'm using Flashget and an event causes the program to refresh (e.g. opening the program, switching between the Download and Downloaded windows) I get the following script error:
An error has occured in the script on this page
Line: 1
Char: 1
Error: Syntax Error
Code: 0
URL:
http://count.zcomic.com/link/count/php?id=94&out=1
I think it has something to do with the advertisements in the "Flashget Recommends" frame but I've looked around and can't find anything useful about the problem. I'm not a programmer or anything either so scripts are pretty much a mystery to me. If anyone knows how to resolve this error let me know please because it's really annoying.
Thanks

At glance I'd say they're rusing the Internet Explorer engine to deliver their ads.
Just lock down Internet Explorer by completely disabling Active Scripting & co. (Tools|Internet Options|Security|Custom and tick every "disable" you find) and this issue should go away.

IE Script Error/Syntax Error/URL:http://client.kuaiche.com/
In flashget -> goto 'view' -> In the drop down box Uncheck 'Recommend'
You will see a popup box 'Disable Recommend page permanently?' -> Check it and click yes
Seemingly the same issue here,
Script error when loading any page in Flashget. (I've since merged these two topics. Does make it a bit confusing

.)
Further disabling script error messages in IE
may alleviate the error message too,
How to disable script and runtime errors in Internet Explorer.

Thank you!!! That worked. I thought it was something simple like that but I couldn't find it until you showed that simple answer.
