Extracting omni.ja

Post by barbaz »

When I click "FlashGot All" in context menu on page resource://, nothing happens and my Error Console gets spammed with this:

Code: Select all

No chrome package registered for chrome://dta-modules/content/support/filtermanager.js
I'm using the latest AMO version of FlashGot with the browser built-in download manager. What's wrong?

Because that points to Fx's omni.ja file, which I need to extract. I don't have an archive reader that can open the file, so I'm stuck using Firefox directly.

Terminal, unzip.
I suspect you even have a jar executable in your path.
Or you can rename it to omni.zip and let the finder work for you.

However I've found the problem with the repeated console message, it will be fixed in next release, thanks.

Wow, didn't know that existed, thanks. Much more effective than graphical Archive Manager which rejected the file as invalid. :D
