Hi I'm using Firefox V23.0 and Vuze V5.1 on Ubuntu 12.04

Noscript appears to be blocking searchs eminating from Vuze (as my default browser within Vuze is Firefox)

I've looked at the options in Noscript (latest version) but I can't see what / where I must change.

Any ideas please?

If you disable NoScript, do the searches then work?

Sorry i HAVE misled you due to confusion on my part... Sorry again.

Running several instances I got myself in a real tangle.

NOT A NOSCRIPT PROBLEM.....................................

Now solved with an extra linux package

Vuze is a torrent client?
Doing anything special in its sending of the search string to FF?

Anything related show up in Error Console after attempting a search?

From a command line, "searches" like these proceed unimpeded:

Code: Select all

seamonkey www.yahoo.com
seamonkey -url www.yahoo.com
seamonkey -search ncmain.exe
Or in Eudora (mail), its 'Send (message) to browser' opens the expected message in your browser.
