Hard Crashes At Google Maps

Getting Hard Crashes At Google Maps

Don't know if NoScript related or not?

Still running RC1, haven't tried RC2 yet.

URL: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&o ... minster+md
Click the Google Map
Click a few links on the map

Mozilla Crash Reporter - Breakpad - about:crashes
Crash ID: http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/i ... 9952090613

Looks to be ABE related.
Disable ABE & no crashes.

I'll also get "artifacts" as I scroll through the maps. (Both RC1 & RC2)

Haven't crashed (yet?) with RC2 though, even with ABE enabled.

Artifact. The 'ol box in the center, though it needn't look like that.

Disable NoScript & I'm not getting artifacts.

Me too. Using RC2, I think.

Confirmed the artifacts, not the crash, on RC2.
Temporary work around (working only on RC2): set noscript.asyncNetworking about:config pref to false.

Should be fixed in latest development build (please test with asyncNetworking enabled).
Notice that I bumped the version number to 1.9.4.1 and will never dare to call anything a RC anymore :(

There is nothing wrong with using the RC notation, all of life is a perpetual RC until its not ;)

Why not do it the OpenVPN client way? They are already at RC No.18 (the last stable version was released 2½ years ago)…

Or the perpetual and eternal Beta designations.
