Flashgot downloading only half a video?

Hi I am using slackware 14.0. When I try to download a video with flashgot via download helper, the video downloads fully at least according to the size. But when I play the video it only plays until halfway then stops. I use mplayer 1.0 if it matters. I am noticing this only happens from videos from twich.tv. The videos I am downloading are also larger than 500Mb but smaller than 1GB. All the videos from twich.tv download but are only playable until the half point. Flashgot works fine on other video sites.
