Post by uNHoLy »

Hi all,

First of all, i thank you for no registration. :)

I came across a web site on the net which NoScript did not work. :(
I don't know how they could bypass the NoScript extention. :?

The web page is:
http://www.plak1.com/dinle/belkis-ozene ... /8262.html

Thank you. ;)

What does exactly make you think they bypass NoScript?
What unexpected behavior are you observing?

NoScript = active
Java = blocked
Adobe Flash = blocked

When i visited the page, the song started playing automaticaly. it must not have started playing. :cry:
Besides, im using flash blocker (active)..

Eventually, i resolved the problem by "reset" ;)

Thank you

I went there, allowed scripting from all four of the domains, and still the song would not play until I allowed the .swf Shockwave Flash Object with the song.
You must have somehow allowed this, either temporarily, or had "apply these restrictions to trusted sites too" unchecked in NS > Options > Plugins. I suspect the latter to be the case.

You mentioned using "flash blocker". What kind? A Firefox add-on? A third-party tool? There could possibly be some sort of conflict between that and NS. I personally have found all of the Flash control that I need in NoScript and never felt the need for any other flash-blocking tools. I'm glad you got it fixed. (the reset probably "applied to trusted sites too")
