Bit.ly sidebar conflict

I can't get the bit.ly sidebar to recognize that I'm logged in, when I have NoScript running. If I disable NoScript, it works fine.

I've whitelisted bit.ly.

Any ideas?

Have you reached out to their support to make sure they are aware of a possible conflict and doing something about it?

In the bookmarklet ...

Code: Select all

('src','http://bit.ly/bookmarklet/load.js')
... so I would expect that in order for it to work, that you would need to have (keep) bit.ly Allowed - which you say you have done. Nevertheless, guessing the problem still stems from something to do with that. load.js having further bit.ly/*/*.js links within.

bit.ly Tools

(I never understood the reason for using such services, URL "shortners"?)

No. Their service works until I turn on NoScript.

Service not working when you turn on NoScript does not equal NoScript problem. Nitro helps your heart and Viagra helps your sex life but you take them together you die. Does that mean the Viagra is not working right? If the program is written poorly, a program that is written well can break it sometimes but not because of any fault. Hence why I asked if you told them about this to see what could be the conflict?
